How we handle your information.

We keep this simple, because that's how we'd want it. Here's what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you ask for a regulatory report, we collect your email and the property address you enter. When you book a consultation, we collect your name, email and, if you give it, your phone number. If you become a member, we hold the details needed to run your account and your care, like your address and your flock and visit records. We also collect basic analytics about how the site is used, and payments are handled by Stripe, who hold your card details so we never have to.

Why we collect it

We use your details to send what you asked for, to follow up on a consultation you booked, to run your membership and the care that comes with it, and to keep the site working well. We don't send follow-ups you didn't ask for.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that help us operate, like our hosting, email, analytics and payment providers, and only so they can do that work for us. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you're in touch with us or a member, and for a reasonable period after, so we can answer questions and meet our legal and accounting obligations. When it's no longer needed, we delete it.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand, in aggregate, how it's used. We don't use them to follow you around the web.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email with one click, and you can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold. Just email us at hello@modernhen.co and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site is meant for adults, and it isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date above.
