Henhouses in San Anselmo.

San Anselmo sits on the sunny floor of the Ross Valley, with the wooded Sleepy Hollow hills rising to the north. Down on the valley flats it's warm, level and about as easy as Marin gets for a henhouse. Up in the hills it's shade, slope and more wildlife. We build for whichever San Anselmo you're in.

Local knowledge

Built for San Anselmo backyards.

On the flat valley lots we plan afternoon shade and creek-corridor drainage. Up in Sleepy Hollow we level a pad and plan for heavier wildlife pressure, since coyotes, deer and the occasional bobcat move along the open-space edge there. Raccoons work the creek through the whole town, so the buried apron is standard.

The predators worth planning for here are Raccoons, Coyotes, Hawks, Skunks. Every install is predator-proofed to the same standard, so the flock is safe from day one.
